Here are the details on an upgrade to a venerable and well regarded module for DCS World. Keep getting a "bad track HBMT" or something like that flashing on the MFD. For me that's like splitting the atom and chewing gum at the same time. I can designate a point on the ground, slave the TGP to it, and then kaboodle the bastard with the laser rocket after a turn downrange. I hit a T-90 with a salvo of about 20 of the AP laser rockets and it did exactly nothing. You just sit back and lay waste to an entire convoy. I managed to get a handle on the little laser guided rockets. Once you master that, the "II" has very little change / adaptation. This way, you can go through the in depth "interactive" TGP, TAD and other system tutorials - where steps are highlighted and taken step by step. Most of the tutorials do not have changes for what the "II" will require, very minor ones to be fair. One thing that I recommend new pilots to the A10C "II" - if they are not transitioning from the A10C "I" - use the A10C "I" tutorials (in game). Do you know if there's a way to get the C II under the Canada listing? My only gripe is that if I choose Canada in the country selection for the plane, there's no C II version, only C. The A version was kind of anemic with rockets, the C at least packs a punch. And nice that it carries a good quantity of rockets. Not as bad as I thought, but I'm sure plenty of bad awaits me when I go deeper.
Been flying about an hour and I can handle the BRRRRRTT!, the rockets, and the unguided bombs on the fly. The switch from A to C is a whole other world indeed. We often do a training day, where a training mission is used and we go to school.

I will never! use the plane to it's full potential, but I don't mind paying for it and enjoying it to the extent that my skills permit. Unguided bombs, rockets, and just a crapton of BRRRRRRRRRRTTT! I want the night vision, the HMCS, and the fancy cockpit, but I'd be happy to use the plane at an A-10A level or something slightly higher.
I love the A-10A, it goes well with my small brain, but the new A-10C II has too much eye candy to resist.
